Traffic Personnel are responsible for:

• Fabrication and placement of street signs, stop signs and all other sign concerns   
• Perform traffic counts, speed studies, turn counts, pedestrian movements as needed
• Provide traffic plans for Street Division maintenance and repair projects
• Review, comment and recommend on any preliminary plans submitted to the Engineering Division for approval
• Annual pavement markings including crosswalks, bike lanes, curb paint for loading zones, no parking zones, some parking striping and other painting
• Meetings to organize annual community events
• Plan and provide traffic control during major public events, disasters, emergencies or interdivisional work zone use

Signal Personnel are responsible for:

  • Last Chance Gulch, Helena Avenue, 11^th Avenue, Neill Avenue
  • Last Chance Gulch & Lawrence Street
  • Park Avenue & Lawrence Street
  • Washington Street & Skyway Drive
