Sidewalks are being repaired or replaced in the 6th Ward to address tripping hazards and ADA compliance issues in preparation for a future mill & fill street project.
Initially this project was presented to the RR TIF Board with a request for matching funds on September 2, 2020. A revised application with a smaller footprint was presented to the RRTIF Board and accepted on October 27, 2020. The board approved the application and recommended that the City Commission to approve $100K matching TIF funds for this project. The Commission approved the matching funds, an RFP was advertised and the project was awarded to White Resources in June 2021.
