City Plans Prescribed Burning for March 7

HELENA, Mont. – The City of Helena is planning to conduct more slash pile burning on Tuesday, March 7, while the weather is favorable. The burning will take place on Mount Helena on the eastern and northern faces. A portion of the area scheduled for ignition is immediately adjacent to homes on Carriage Lane.

All prescribed burning activities are weather dependent and subject to change.
